Prostate problems usually begin with an enlarged prostate (BPH) and can affect men as young their 30’s. If not treated this condition can develop into much more serious problems up to and including cancer.
An enlarged gland constricts the urethra which results in an urge to urinate frequently even when you really don’t have to – even when the urge is strong. Difficulty in starting to urinate is another of the symptoms resulting from an enlarged prostate. Prostate problems can lead to cancer if left untreated. It’s a proven fact that at some time in their lives 50% of all men will develop prostate problems of one kind or another. In men over 50, cancer of the prostate is one of the major causes of death and kills almost as many men as all other forms of cancer put together.
