Robert R. Barefoot is a world renowned chemist specializing in mineral digenesis. His research lead to published scientific articles on the process by which minerals are constantly changing from one form to another. His researched enhanced hydrocarbon extraction in the petroleum industry and metal extraction in the mining industry, for which he obtained numerous international patents, and is still active. At the time of this research, he amassed technical publications that concerned biochemical calcium. His use of biochemistry in these fields led him to research the relationship between disease and nutrition, writing three books and appearing as guest speaker at health conventions and on radio and TV talk! shows.
